REEFTON, April 19.

The dispute which since January 14 existed -at the Murray Creek gold mine, Inamgahua, regarding the rate (of wages, has now been amicably settled. The Inangahua Miners’ Union has agreed to accept the terms offered by the company, viz, that the wages shall be 15s per day and that the question of wages be referred to the Arbitration Court, and the rates of pay so fixed shall be retrospective. Work will commence immediately in erecting the boiler and winding plant to unwater the mine, which should take about three months,
