Concussion and severe bead injuries wore suffered by a visitor from Wellington, ML Edward Kennedy, \vhen be slipped and fell down a flight of stairs this afternoon. Mr Kennedy, who is secretary to the cooks and stewards’ union of New Zealand, was ; unconscious when he was taken to the hospital. His condition was described as fairly /serious to-night. Mr Kennedy is married and lives at Island Ray, He came to Auckland to attend the annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party, and he was pre-s-Mit at the discussions to-day. -
