A/ppeals by Wenzl Scholium, racehorse owner; W. Goscomb, -, trainer; dnd G, Grice, apprentice jockey; against their disqualification for -six_ months by th e Judicial Committee oE the Whangarei Racing Club,' were upheld by the Auckland District RacingCommittee.

The eas, e concerned the running of Princess Star in the Portland Hack Handicap at Whangare-i on April 6,' and the disqualifications were imposed on the ground that there had been a contravention of the rule relating to .. ahorso .being run on its merits..
