SUICIDE VERDICT
s ELECTROCUTION AT WELLINGTON NEWLY MARRIED MAN’S FATE (ter tress Association — Copy tight ) WELLINGTON, March 31. The inquest regarding the death of Frances Richard Dykes, a newlymarried linesman employed by the Hydro-Electric 'Branch of the Public Works Department at Napier, whose body was found at the base of the high power standard, among the hills at Kbandallah, on March 25, was resumed to-day. Dr. C. G. Kemp described u visit paid , to nim by the decreased on the night of March 15th. Fie complained of headaches and insomnia. He had had no quarrells with iris wife. In response to questions bv counsel i for an insurance company, Dr Kemp said long-sustained insomnia might result in the deceased being, at the time of his death, unaware of his surrondings and immediate circumstances, but there wa.s uo direct evidence of this. I The Coroner found that deceased had climbed a power standard, caught hold of a wire, and been electrocuted.
