Hospital Board Tenders.—The fol- ; lowing tenders were accepted by the Hospital Board aif its meeting last evening :—Groceries, wines and spirits, Messrs W. Perry and Co. • milk, Air Til os. Marks 2yd per quart; meat Messrs Alurphy and Co.; firewood, Air T'hos. Stopforth; coal, Air Thos. Stopforth, drugs, Air W. E. Williams ; burials, Air T. L. Ralfe. Hokitika Football Club.—The annual meeting was held last evening in the Boating Club Shed. The following : officers were elected :—President, Air IT. L. Alicliel; vice-presidents, Alessrs J. J. AlcTntosh, J. J. Breeze, D. J. ‘ Evans, W. Hall, W. Keller, IT. Jones, F. McGregor, W. Bray, G. Stephens, A. E. .Benjamin, and T. Palmer; captain, L. Hills; deputy, T. Carley; sec., Air J. E. -Wade; committee, -Messrs W. Lambert, H. Lynch, B. Dowell, W. Fraser, W. Wilson. Harbour Improvements. The meeting convened bv the mayor, at the instance of the Harbour Board to consider the position of improvements to the harbour, attracted a large attendance.
