' A SEAMAN CHARGED. /> AUCKLAND, March 10. > Arrested yc-sterday in Otahuhu Mailway workshops yards, Horace Arthur Owen, 24, a seaman, was remanded to-day on >a charge cf stealing brans fittings from a locomotive. The police said complaints were received of somebody dismantling railway engines, and yesterday a detective found Owen taking braos. The total •damage done was £l2o', hut it was not suggested, that accused was responsible for it all.
