WEDDING BELLS
ANDERSON—TENNENT. The wedding was solemnised on Wednesday .afternoon in St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Greyinouili, of Jean Lgchlw, ,eldest,,daughterof -Mr and Mrs John Tennant, Nelson Street, Karoro. and Louis Francis, second oldest soil of Mr and the Into Mrs L, L, Anderson, of Ward Street, C'obdon. The Rev. H. R. Fell officiated. Mr R, B. Tennent, brother of the bride, presided ialfc the organ, the service being fully choral, iM-iss L. Lopdell giving a beautiful rendering of “My Prayer.” The Church was tastefully decorated for ;the occasion by friends of the bride.and bridegroom. On leaving the cliurch the newly-married couple passed through an arch of blue and gold streamers, formed by Bible class members.
Tlie bride, who was escorted by her father, wore an ankle Length frock of ivory satin beaute, made on fitting lines with yoke of augel-skin lace and coatee, with fully puffed sleeves; her embroidered tulle veil fell from a circlet of orange blossoms. She carried an armlet of lilies asd asters and Scotch heather. Miss Alarion Tennent-, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and wore an ankle-length frock of pale pink georgette and lace, coatee ,to mla-tch with three 1 flare, s of lace and georgette forming a puff at the shoulders, and her bouquet was of dahlias and asters. Little Vina Harritson, as the flower girl, wore a long frock of pale green orepe-de-chine, and a Dutch dap of gold lace, and carried a Victorian pcsio of pale pink .asters, tied with tulle to match. Mr Gordon Anderson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Later, a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents. Airs Tennenit received the guests, wearing a becoming frock of navy blue crepe Romaine, and carrying a bouquet of Autumn tinted flowers. AVhen Mr and Airs Anderson left- for the wedding tour, the bride was wearing a blue marocain frock, under k coat of tfye same toning with a musquash fur collar, her. small hat- being of blue felt, with a snarl'- eve-veil.
