His wi.e has offered to pay the ransom,. but no contact with the kidnappers lias yet been effected. Boettcher rfid his wife arrived homo in an automobile. Then two men, who were armed, stepped from behind the garaee, and forced him to enter a small sedan car. They handed his wife the ransom note, which warned her against notifying the police. The note also mentioned: “Don’t, forget the Lindbergh baby.”
