INVERCARGILL, January 9
No Labour wa 6 offering when Linton. Mossbank, Wairakh end Black Diamond mines opened this morning, after nearly five months of a strike. The men, by a large majority, reaffirmed the previous decision to stand fast against th P owners’ terms, especially the hire .and fire clause.
The owners meet during the week to consider the course of action.
