A BIG BLAZE

TWO HOTELS INCLUDED. A disastrous five, occurred at Wall*?ml this morning at four o’clock the Union Hotel, Empire' Hotel, library and a private house being completely destroyed. FURTHER PARTICULARS. (Per, Pres: Association— Copyright.) GREYMOUTH, January 4. Early this morning a fir e destroyed the Union and Empire Hotels, public library, McLuskieg billiard room, and Frickleton’s residence at tYallsend. The use of the mine pump and hose saved the iMine office and Williams’ residence. It is reported that the fire started in the Union Hotel. Portion of the contents of the Empire Hotel and Frickleton’s 'were gaved.
