WELLINGTON, December 6,
The appeal of B. Burgess against the decision of the Carterton Racing Club committee, reversing the plucings of Atholspear and Gay Court in the recent V- airarapa Cup. was dismissed yesterday by the Wellington District Committee, but the term of three months’ suspension imposed on Athodspear's jockey, A. O’,Neill, has been reduced to one month.
