The “Morning Post” congratulates the Commonwealth on the promptness with which it has pushed ahead with an air link connecting Port Darwin with Singapore,’ under wholly British control. It say© that there can be ho doubt of its importance as a step in imperial organisation. It is understod that Imperial Airways intend tendering for the Singa-pore-D'arwin air link.
HINKLER’S MYSTERY FLIGHT. LONDON, December 5. It is reported that Bert Hinkler is shortly, leaving-,on flight to. Australia. Hinkler .recently purchased a new long range engine for 'a Puss Moth.
