INVEROARFGILL, Dec. 5

An inquest was held! today into the' death of Albert Joseph Donovan, single, 'aged 41, who wins found dead on November Bth., shortly after ah inquest was held into the death of Hector Aitken.

The police stated that between the time of Aitken’s diapjoearance and his own delath ) Donovan appeared' to be very worried as to his association with a girl. Disclosures, it was stated, had upset him, and the prospect of pub* licity had led Him to take his life.

The Coroner returned a verdict that Donovan’s death was due to poisoning self adlministerod, while in a stat© of mental agitation.

FARMER KILLED BY DRAY

CHRISTCHURCH, December 5

' Thomas Eugelbrecht, aged 61. a married man, was killed on his farm at Kaiapoi this morning when a loaded dray ran over liim. Th» hors© bolted as Eugelbrecht was climbing on to the dray and a wheel passed over him.
