CHILD INJURED ON RAILWAY.

AUCKLAND, December 2

Grave injuries were reeived by Nalda Frances Pink, aged eight'years, as the result of being, struck by the engine of a mixed train at a lei el crossing at Church Street, To Papa, about 5.30 to-night. The child was crushed, and sbe also suffered a fracture of the left arm, laceration to the right arm and both legs, and severe shock. Iler condition is very serious.
