FINED FOR ASSAULT.

AUCKLAND, December 2. As 'a sequel to one of A. H. Dallb more’s faith healing meetings, Thomas James Kingston, a tramway employee, who acted as was to-day fined Ills and costs for assault. He punched a man jn the crowd outside the hall. The defence was that the complainant and his friends had been frequenting Dalljmore’s meetings endeavouring to persuade people to alter their religious views. Hanham was definitely hostile to Dallimoro and accused got excited. The Magistrate said there was some provocation, hut religious fervour was no excuse for violence. He refused to suppress tho accused’s name.
