SUBSTANTIAL SUMS LEFT.

DUNEDIN, November 18

Substantial bequests to the Roman Catholic Church are made under the will of the late Annie Harrington, whose estate has been sworn at ~14,000. The bequests are for many Catholic organisations in the Dunedin district, except £SOO for the Order of the Sisters of the Lewisham Hospital, Sydney. £IOOO goes- to the Holy Cross College, Mosgiel, for the provision of a Harrington bursary for education for the priesthood. After certain personal legacies the residue is bequeathed to the Dunedin Roman Catholic bishop for the benefit .of the church. **>;■. , ■ :
