By many people interested in the ai)peal to the Government, it is maintained that the so-called sport-of carrier pigeon racing is (lamed to excess for gambling purposis. There is, c-f course, no intention, to interfere with the useful and harmless practice of using, pigeons to eutabli li communication 'between the fishing grounds and tip? villages on the Jutland coast.
