It is announced that the. U.S. Federal deficit for the third of the current fiscal year will be -629,889 thousand dollars. This . deficit is ; 446,686 thousand dollars less than that for the similar period of last year. Yet it is considered even ia mdie dangerous sign of the state of the • Government finances, due to the extraordinary measures enacted by the last Congress in the hope ctf balancing the budget
