A report from' Wellington that an agreement hair been reached between the members of Seamen’s Unions and the shipowner’s' federation, was denied to-day by officials of the Lyttelton branch of the union.

Yesterday, a stop work meeting was held at 'Lyttelton, arid seamen from the wsel’s in port discussed the owners’ proposed terms, it was decided that the' master should "be put t 0 a plebiscite, which -.dll be taken at all .ports in. the Dominion.
