THE NEW MANCHUKUO STATE. KOBE, October 22. The continued revolt against the l new Manclu’l'uo State of General >Su Pingwu, wJ.o with two army brigades defiantly occupied Manchuli and Hailar on September 28,' is to be investigated by the Japanese military attache at Moscow'. He has been instruced to go t-o Manchuli. General Su noty only controls the two 'towns named, in defiance of the Government at Mukden, of which “Mr” Pu Yi is the head, but also the surrounding country, and the Japanese are not able to approacn either centre. Bombing ’planes -sent from Tairsiliar have, how e ber, destroyed an aeroplane which had been captured and k. pt at Hailar by General Su. The bombers dropped a letter offering terms to the rebel general conditional on his return to allegiance to ManehukuoThe military are anxious that the world should, irj view' of the forthcoming meeting of the League of Nation at Geneva, understand that no were injured by the bombing at Hailar. There is, for the. same reason, military reluctance to undertake extensive warlike operations. Meanwhile the situation with regard to bandits in the new State is not improving. The harvests are being destroyed, undeu cover of guerilla warfare, and in face of the increasing cold this is a serious situation.
