ARMED ROBBERS

Aimfed robbers in a motor attacked two bank messengers carrying a box containing £2701 from a hr nch of th© Redcheba,nk at Erfurt. They, shot one dead and wounded ,the other. Wliiiie they were lording the box into the ,car, a policeman came out of a neighbouring station, cud the robbers dropped th© box and fled. The constable fired at the car, and ft is believed that one of the robbers Was wounded! in the encounter which occurred in. tire day time in a busy street.
