The Prince of Wales and Prince George, are concluding their visit to Sweden. -Qn ,the eve of their departure the Prince of Wales broadcast a speech in which he expressed to the people of;Sweden warm thanks for the friendly' reception given his brother and himself. He said. he ‘ was ■ much ■ impressed by all he had seen, by the beauty of Sweden’s country and capital, and’by those aspects of its industrial life : 'which he was able to inspect. Commenting on there being a widespread knowledge of the English language amongst all classes in. -Sweden,: he expressed the opinion that' the Swedes were wise to learn English, because ; it was becoming one of the best and easiest means of intercourse between nations. It Was a great satisfaction to obsfiiWe a-grdwihg tendency in Sweden towards commercial and cultural delations ••• with firitaiti, which, he assured-the. Swedes,. Britain would reciprocate fully and warmly, King Gustav and several members o* the Royal Family were at the station when the Princess left, as well as a. great crowd. The Princes are spending this evening at 1 Gothenburg, before leaving at midnight, foir Maimoa, .where they board an-aeroplane and will be taken to Hamburg. , Prince George will then fly to London, ■ while the Prince of Wales will pay a short private visit to Amsterdam, staying at tlie British Legation.
