AT THEATRE. <3 lil Mr Harold) Prescott and a very capable company presented a very successful and enjoyable musical recital at 'Princess Theatre fast night. There was only a moderate attendance present, but those present were rewarded byhearing a very iine programme, ana their reception of the various performers was of a very hearty nature. Throughout the programme hearty recalls were given in every instance and Mr Harold Prose aft on every appearance was the recipient of special appreciation, double encores being demanded and on one occasion the audience were mot satisfied and a third encore number was given. Mr Prescott was ably supported by Mrs Edith Morrow (contralto), Miss Marvel Warnes and Mrs Edith Wright (soprano), Mr Eve Boote (tenor) and Mr Leo C~rruthers (trombone), while Miss Gwen Jacobs (piano) and Mr J. Stop forth (recitations) gave good support to what proved a very comp Me concert entertainment. The programme was as follows :

Moon of My Deilight” .Mr Harm'd Prescott ; Trombone (Solo: “Lend Me Your Aid" Air Leo. Oamithers; Solo: “II Bacio" (My Dream of Horne) ATrs Edith Wright; Recitation: “Como'' Mr James Stopforth; Duet: “Una Notte a Venezia” Air ■Harold Prescott and Alias Marvel Warnes. Miss Yoney Millar presided at the piano, and her dainty .accompaniments were a feature of the evening. Before the singing of the National Anthem, which' concluded the concert, ,Mr Pre-cott than lied the audience for their attend an-JO and generous reception, Miss Jacobs and Air Stopforth for their assistance, and his ..pupils for their fine efforts. He mentioned that it was proposed to give, frrther recitals of a similar nature at later dales.
