Textile experts estimate that orders amounting to over £2,000,000 were taken in.. the textile section of the l?riti4'i‘ Industries Fair. Exhibitors declare that never has trade followed the Royal. Family to such an extent. Orders for many thousansd of pounds’ worth of goods were booked after the visit by the Queen, Princess Royal and Duchess of York.
N.Z. MADE CRUDE OIL ENGINE. LONDON, February 29. Experts showed keen interest in. the tests of the New Zealand Edlin-Stcw-art crude oil engine, one oi which is now being built in London for demonstration on a lorry. Mr G. S : . Edlin bought and sent to New Zealand as a souvenir, the gear box assembly used by Sir Malcolm Campbell in the Bluebird’s earliei records.
