CABINET .MEETS ARMY CHIEFS. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) HELSINGFORS, February 29. Something like a civil war prevails in certain parts of Finland. Four thousand men are under arms at Alontsala, including machine-guns belonging to the Lappu or Fascist Movement, under the leadership of Kosala. There are simitar risings in other districts. It is .stated that at least 25,C00 w-dl soon be under arms. An attempt will be made to march on the capital and establish k dictatorship. Leaders demand the dissolution of all Socialist organisations. Socialists at present are the largest part in the Finnish Parliament. Cabinet is meeting urgently and 'holding a conference with the Army chiefs.
GRAVE POLITICAL CRISIS. LONDON, February 29. “The Times's” Helsingfors correspondent states that organised Fascists under the La pun n auspices, have caused a grave political crisis. The leaders have ordered the mobilisation of Lapuan forces, in preparation for a march on Helsingfors.
Several thousands have concentrated at Moiitsala, forty miles to the north of Helsingfors.
