TRAGIC DEED
BY DEMENTED FATHER. LONDON, Feb. 27. While a mother and governess were at the threatre. two daughters and a son, the eldest only ten, were shot dead in their beds at their residence in Highgate. The mother was alarmed at finding the nursery locked, and summoned friends, who burst- open the doow. and found the children dead. Their father, Emile, Shatenet, a theatrical costumier, is dying of a wound in the head.
