For the first time in the American, Continent a thousand point break was made here to-day by Walter Lindnun in an exhibition billiards match with Newman. The break stood at 1149 unfniised when play closed for the night. Scores: Newman (receiving 3000) 8,283, Lindrum 6.453. Lindnun also made a break of 598.
