LUXURY TAX ON GUNS. CHICAGO, Feh. 19. Chicago City is “broken,” and proposes to tax luxuries—even guns—-to raise revenue. The City Council has passed regulations for a 10 per cent, tax on theatre admissions, cigars, and tobacco; 20 per cent on perfumes and toilet articles; and 15 per cent on lire arms and ammunition. Cost of* burying gangsters’ victims has not vet. been included in the new tax.
