The Duchess of York shortly opens, and Their Alajestics will privately visit, the world’s largest and most luxurious nursing home, being erected at Marylebone road The home is being fitted like a luxurious hotel, with a telephone in every room. Suites of three to lour l'Ov nu. will 1 be available, but it is particularly intended for middle class • patients averse to hospitals. A leature will he the rates (inclusive, no extras), ranging from £/ weekly lor a single room to LIS for a suite. Thirty-six Harley Street physicians and surgeons are forming a group to staff the home. There will be nine operating theatres and dental surgeries, and two hundred nurses. The "milding is costing £400,000, and the equipment £30,000.
