A DISCLAIMER. (To the Editor), Sir, —Sometime ago a letter appeared in the “Grey River Argus” signed Ratepayer, Ross. I notice ano flier under the same signature in your issue of to-da.v. I have been publicly accused of writing the first of these letters, I would he glad if you would make public the fact that l most emphatically deny having written or had anything to do with the writing' of either of these epistles. As our friend “Ratepaper” seems tb indulge in writing as a hobby. 1 would ask him to write once more, in answer to the following question:—“Wh.v is he not man enough to sign his name to his writings?’’ I am etc, J.
