EXPORT OF SILVER. WELLINGTON, July 16. Holding that all the circumstances pointed to the silver bpfng taken out for a commercial venture Mr Page, S.M., in a reserved decision convicted Ronald ■Maxwell Stewart of having shipped, with intent, to export, silver coin contrary to Section 47 of Customs Act 1913. He imposed a fine of £25, the minimum amount allowed under the Act.
BOURSE REOPENING. P.AR S, Jrly 15. The Bourse, re-opening after four days, was faced with an accumulation of selling orders hut there was ho panic though all quotations fell heavily dealers pessimistically viewing the future of Germany.
