(By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WA IPUKURAU, July 14. - A large meeting of Reform supporters in the Waipawa Electorate, held at Waipukurqu this afternoon selected Mr John Davies Ormond, aged 26 years, as the Party’s candidate at the general election. Five candidates were nominated. Mr Ormond, who is a grandson of the late Hon. J. J>. Ormonde was ourn at Wnipukurau, and was educated at Christ’s College, Christchurch. He is a leader, in the Toe H. movement in Hawke s Bay, and is a keen sport, particularly jj, * Rugby circles.
