Senator Walsh inferentia.lly charged President Hoover with a dereliction • oi duty when as- a member, of the Harddng Cabinet, he had not exposed the crookedness that was then existing in high official, circles. Senator Walsh drew attention to Mr Hoover’s assertion that betrayal by hi s friends was a contributing cause to ex-President Harding’s death, and he declared that jt was injudicious for the President to now make such a disclosure.
