KING CAROL
OPENS PARLIAMENT. [United Press Association.—by Efectru Telegraph.—Copyright.J (Received this day at 10.15 a.in.) BUCHAREST, June 16. Instead of delivering a cheering greeting to King Carol’s opening of Parliament for the first time, a silent listless crowd witnessed King Carol and Prince Michael drive to Parliament in a magnificent carriage, with six jet black horses. The earstwhile boy King shifted restlessly, while ihis father read the Royaa message, troubled and trying to conceal his boredom with the whole proceedings.
