FRENCH RIOTING
FORTY ARRESTS MADE. (United Press Association—By Electru Telegraph—Copyright) (Received this clay at 13.25 a.m) PARIS, June 14. A message from Roubaix states; There was a recrudescence of rioting wnen three hundred Communists, whom the police prevented demonstrating, reassembled in other parts of the city, where they smashed street lamps and looted shop windows of their contents. They paraded the streets and stoned firemen attempting to destroy the barricades, Later the Communists wrecked motor showrooms and dragged cars into streets where they set them on fire. Cavalry arriving to disperse the mob received a shower of missiles, which injured three. The rioting continued until dawn. Forty arrests have been made.
FURTHER PARTICULARS. PARTS, June 14. The Roubaix; mob finally numbered a thousand. The police chief called on them .to disperse. The Communists replied with volleys of cobble stones. One struck the Chief who was severely injured. Mounted policy repeatedly charged until three in the morning. The moh fired several shops and prevented the firemen from extinguishing them.
