ARRIVAL AT SYDNEY

SYDNEY, April 29

The first English air mail arrived at Sydney by the air liner, Southern Sim to-day. This opens a now era in -Imperial communications The trip of the mails has occupied twenty-five days.

The Melbourne portion of the mail was transferred to the Southern Star which is expected to arrive at that city this evening.

SOUTHERN CLOUD

FINDING OF ENQUIRY

SYDNEY, April 29

The report of the Committee which inquired into the loss ol the Southern Cloud finds that no blame is attachable to any person connected with the Australian National Airways. The Southern Cloud wins airworthy, and properly eared for, and all reasonable precautions were taken to ensure the safety of the passengers. The Committee, however, recommends that wireless facilities he provided along the route traversed by the air liners engaged in regular commercial services.
