SYDNEY, April 29

The body of Mrs Vera Bailey,, aged thirty-six, was found impaled on a tree on the mountainside at Kutoomba, in the Blue Mountains, West of Sydney. Her son, aged nine, was discovered on a rocky ledge nearby with his hip broken, and in an unconscious state. The pair had fallen nearly six- hundred' feet at Echo Point, which is a favourite resort^*. They had beervdiiissing since yesterday afternoon. The rescuers bad considerable difficulty in recovering the mother’s mutilated body. She had lately had a nervous breakdown.
