The building forming part of the Girl Guides’ new Imperial headquarters in London were formally opened by tlie Queen. H<?r Majesty was received by Princess Mary Countess Hare wood President of thp Girl Guides’ Association. After ithe ceremony, the Queen made a tour of the buildings. Mr Stanley Baldwin unveiled a statue of the late Lord C’urzon, on Carlton House Terrace, London, opposite his old residence. The Wheat Import Duty Bill lvas been introduced in the Assembly by Sir George Rainy. It proposes To impose a. duty of two rupees per hundredweight on wheat till March, 1932. The Executive is empowered to reduce or remove the duty in the meantime, if circumstances change. OBITUARY. BERLIN, March 22. Obituary—Doctor Mueller, ex-Prem-ier.
