ACROSS TASMAN SEA. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 9. The Melbourne yacht Oimara and the Norwegian yacht. Teddy, both now at Auckland, are being matched for, a trans-Tasman race to Melbourne, and may start this week. AUCKLAND, March 9. It is possible that three yachts may race across the Tasman. If Mr Tamibs can secure financial backing to enable him to send his wife and child to Sydney by steamer, the “Teddy” will race the “Oimara,” while it is also stated that an Auckland owned yacht will enter the contest.
