(By Telegraph—Press Association) THE HOUSE. THE SESSION ENDING. WELLINGTON. Oct. 25. In the House of Representatives yesterday the debate on the second reading of the Appropriation Bill was continued throughout the afternoon and the Bill was put through the committee. In the evening, three local hills were then put through the remaining stages and passed, and Kawnfau Gold Mining Amalgamation Bill was also passed.

Air Smith Proved the second reading of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill, but in face iof strenuous Reform objection he moved for the adjournment of this debate. At 2 a.m, this morning the motion was adopted by 35 to 16. Labour member opposing tlie adjournment.

The House proceeded with the third reading of the Appropriation Bill, which was eventually passed, the House rising at 4.45 a.m. till 9.30' this morning when the formal end of the session business will be taken.

THE COUNCIL. WELLINGTON October 25. The Legislative Council met at 9.30 a.m. to-day. Kawnrau Gold Alining Amalgamation Bill was put through all stages and passed. Tlie Council adjourned at 9.40 until the ringing of tlie bells. THE HOUSE, WELLINGTON, October 25. The House of Representatives met at 9.30a.m. The Acting-Prime Alinister intimated it was intended to take six private members Bills on the understanding none took more than a quarter of an, hour. The following were put through Committee with . minor Amendments : Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Amendment (Mr Alason); Destitute Persons Amendment (Mr Barnard); Property Law Amendment (Air Masson.)
