Kapuna fell at the heavy brush entering the straight, after having led for most of the first mile and a half covered. Snowfall then carried on the running for over half a mile, when Matu, Corneroff, Omeo and Aurora Borealis closed up the gap. Three furlongs from home, the top weight ran through the field, and won handsomely by five lengths. Omeo was four lengths back, and Snowfall was a length away fourth. Time 7.24,
Enfield Steeplechase,—(l) Radiac 1, (5) Tarnmoa 2, (4) Kaikahu 3. Won by six length; ten length*?. Time 4.5. Winter Cup.—(3) Toxeuma 1, (8) Nancy Lee 2, (5) Havering 3. Won by three lengths; two [lengths. Time 1.46.
Avonhead Handicap.—(3) On Top 1, (4) Portray 2, (2) Desert Song 3. Won by two lengths; one length. Time 1.33.
