BANFURLY SHIELD,
WELLINGTON’S CHALLENGE. (•By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 12. Wellington .Rugby Union decided to-night to issue a challenge to Southland for the Banfurly Shield, and to notify that the match at Invercargill on September 3rd is to be a match for the Shield. Mr J. N. Millard, the sole selector, was appointed, manager of the southern tour. FOURTH TEST INCOME TAX.
