LATE LOCALS.
Tlhe Christchurch “Press” on Monday states the escapee from Paparua prison, Timothy Edward Cosgrove, is still at large. During the week-end the police continued the search, but all efforts to trace Cosgrove were unavailing. It is believed that he is making for the back country. He would he able to travel a considerable distance during the week-end, there being no adverse weather conditions to cause him to seek shelter. Police cars have scoured the country over a. wide area. All country stations have been notified of the man’s escape and supplied with his description. It was' reported that the escapee was seen on Friday night, in the. vicinity of East and Moore Streets. He was wearing an overcoat and white tennis shoes. A positive safeguard against coughs, colds and all such throat and lung complaints—“Nazol.” Put a few drops on your handkerchief every morning. Economical double size contains 120 full doses of 2s 6d,—Advt.
