LORD STONEHAVEN’S TERM UP,

CANBERRA, August 8

Lord Stonehaven, whose term of Office as Governor-General of Australia has nearly expired, was officially farewelled to-day here by the Federal Ministry. Glowing tributes were paid by Prime Minister, Hon. ,T. H. Scullin and Mr Latham (Leader of the Opposition) to the splendid services Lord haven had rendered during his five years of office. His Excellency said lie had immensely enjoyed his sojourn in Australia.
