Haddon, a close| associate of the late Sir Maui Pomlre in Maori reform movements arid-other fields of endeavour, lias been peystjaded to accept nomination and .accept- the vacant seat in the Western Maori electoral district. Inquiries, which were made to-day, show that this .decision will! probably mean that three candidates will enter the field.
