The Irish .Free State is.now to liaye its own,.high power Station for radio broad listing,. from which . programmes will be broadcasted, y .

Ilians have been submitted by the Ministry of Posts and Telegraphs for the erection of the Transmitter, which will probably cost £70,000, and these* plans have now been officially passed. Although the actual site has not been definitely decided upon, it is considered likely that the new Station wul be built near Athlone.
