Locality of the Race, and of its starting and terminal points: Block VI. Kanieri Survey District. Starting about 100 yards below the confluence of Butcher’s Creek with Kanieri River and terminating on the south bank of Kanieri River, approximately 150 yards below the confluence of McKay’s 'Creek with Kanieri River. Length and Intended Course of race: Length, about 2 milse. Course, general njorth-westerly. Points of intake: South side Kanieri River. Estimated time and cost of/ construction : 12 months. £B,OOO. Mean depth and breadth: Ditching 9ft. by 6ft., partly flaming and tunnelling. Number of heads to be diverted: 175 heads. Purpose for which Water is to be used: Mining and electrical development.
