Considerable discussion centred round : a claim from E. Nelson’ for the sum ot £8 which he alleged was owing to him by Air Conza when he was in the latter’s employment. | Alter Co in? a- had given his statement as to the facts of the case, it was decided that the onus was upon Nelson to prove his claim. A question arose as to whether Conza had committed a breach by training horses, when he was not in possession of a trainer’s license. It was pointed out that if this were p,roved any horses trained by Conza would not be eligible for. nomination at forthcoming meetings. Evidence was brought forward to show that Conza had not participated in the actual training, but had, on occasions, groomed a horse. It was decided that there had been no breach of the rules. TAD!
