For some time the Board has contemnlated arranging for such a, visit, and invitations have now been’ dispatched to the Bishon of Western China, Dr IT. W. K. Mowed and the Bidiop of Central Tanganyika-, Dr G. A. Chambers.

Dr Mow'd lias been Bishop of Western China si mo 1926, and As-sistant-Bishop in the diocese from 1922 to the time of his appointment as Bishop. He was educated a.t King’s College. Canterbury, and King’s College and Ridley Hall, Cambridge. Prior to bis translation to the East, Bishop Mowel was the Dean of Wyoliffe College, Toronto, where be- went as tutor ‘and professor of theology in 1913.

Dr Chandlers is an Australian and a product of St. Paul’s College, University of Sydney. Fi’on 1902 to 1904 ho was curate of St. Clement’s, Alosman. Svdney. In 1904 lie became viee-nriivipal of the Moore Theological College, Sydney. He held that appointment until 1911, when he went to Holy Trinity College, Dulwich Hill, as rector. While at Trinitv College lie also acted as warden of Ti'initv Grammar School, Sydney. From 1911 to the tinm of his appointment in Central Africa in 1927 Dr Chambers was examining chaplain to the Archbishop of Sydney.
