MOTOR BOAT RACE SEQUEL
Nine competitors in an outboard motor-boat race were, summoned at Stevning, Sussex under a by-law which limits the speed of mechanically driven craft in 'Shoreham Harbour to four miles an hour.
Four officials of the Sussex Motor Yacht Club, under whose auspices the race was held, were summoned for aiding and abetting.
Mr J. D. Cassels, K.C., for the defence. said there was no evidence that any of the defendants were driving at moro than four miles an hour.
The summonses were dismissed < payment of costs.
